At Need + Co. your first curl cut will approximately take 1.5 - 2 hours of time. Your service includes a thorough consultation that will help you and your stylist chose the right shape and finishing techniques to fit your texture and lifestyle. Your stylist will cut your curls their natural curly state focusing on your length, density, movement, and shape.

After your cut, your stylist will bring you to our wash basins, where you will go through a product evaluation, choose the treatments you need, and experience a curl coaching session so you can confidently recreate your style.

Each stylist has gone through curl education, some have chosen to focus solely on curly hair and others have embraced curly knowledge by incorporating it into their existing business.

Absolutely! We believe one of the coolest parts about having curly hair is the ability to wear it in multiple ways and that includes pressed.

When you come in for a silk press, your stylist will discuss with you the best ways for you to wear your hair pressed while caring for the health of your curls. There is nothing wrong with getting a silk-press or getting some iron curls, we simply need to make sure your curls are protected before and after so your curls can pop back as soon as you’re ready to cleanse and condition your curls again.
